I laughed way too hard at this.
NGL, 90% of the Furry art I see (smutty or otherwise) is usually pretty mid. Like, early 2000s "gamer" webcomic quality art.
I don't have any moral objections to Furries but I find the aesthetics of the culture a bit tacky.
But have you considered:

Furry art comes in two genres: poorly crafted scribbles vaguely in the style of the most recent children's media to feature anthropomorphic animals (but edgier), and gorgeously rendered art in the style of whatever children's media had anthropomorphic animals 20 years ago (but hornier).

It REALLY depends where you get it from.
I've seen some pixel art that's furry and it impressed the hell out of me 
i just find the body shapes people tend to use a bit uncanny looking. even if it's good art it looks weird and off to me, so i just don't really engage with it aside from a few furry friends
