A community to satirize conservtive and right-wing "ideals".
This community (now) exists as a pressure valve, a place to process through humor the often frustrating world of conservative politics. Above all, this is NOT the place for serious conservative support/viewpoints/arguments. There are other places on Lemmy for that if you desire it.

Highlight Contradictions: Sometimes the best content points out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in conservative talking points. Creative commentary is encouraged.

Public Figures Fair Game: Politicians and pundits can be satirized, but no targeting of private individuals, doxxing, or harassment.
Children of public figures under the age of 14 are also off-limits, a 16 year old has enough free agency to break with or adopt their parents views. An 8 year old kid doesn't.

No News Zone: Memes only, news or other serious content should be sent to the nearest relevant comm. Meme's of current events, however, are encouraged.

Clear Satire: Make your satirical intent reasonably clear. We’re here to mock bad ideas, not accidentally spread them. If you're unsure how it will be taken, feel free to DM the mod team ahead of time or explicitly tag it as satire in the body.
A note on ChadMcTruth: Chad's content is 100% satire, but his work can sometimes be hard to tell, but if he posted it be assured, its satire.

Yep. Note the marriages are legal "with parental permission". It's basically a way for both sides to treat daughters as tradable property.
I recall some comment saying 7 was legal age because thats when kids were old enough to understand the concept of sin.

Here, you can't do any contracts before age 12 or conclude any kind of business, be it buying pants.
But birth got you into a religious contract which the state forces us to PAY to leave. I had to pay like 30 bucks to leave a cult I was never asked if I wanted to join, because I couldn't speak. It's not the value that pisses me off, it's the principle and Hypocrisy.
Yeah Christianity didn't fuck me up at all. /s

IS there even threat of eternal punishment? Wasn't Hell basically described simply as a place where people who don't follow God go? IIRC the fiery depths of torturing were created because people were not really bothered by original. Same with goat lookin Satan, which at first was shown how he was described - as a fallen angel.

It doesnt matter if we can define if it is a threat from a outside perspective with a historical context and it doesnt matter that god is actually not real because if you are a kid growing up and your parets tell you that you will die and go toll hell to be punished for eternety for some reason it has a big impact on you. These kids dont have the outside perspective or a history backround to know better, it will affect them. Even if it seems sus to them, untill a certain age kids will just beelieve what parents or other important figures tell them and if you grow up in an environment where everyone beelieves this it gets ingrained in you. It took a shit ton of time untill i aceppted that it was ok to also think guys are hot after being indoctrinated for most of my life. The deconstruction of all the bullshit and absolutly awfull morals and ethics you learn is very hard.
Because one is about living your life based on your needs and the other is about living your life based on someone elses
