Minsk, Jun 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel proposed today to create in his country a logistics center for the distribution of goods from the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) to Latin American countries.

“An initiative is being launched to use Cuba as a logistics and investment center, taking advantage of the capabilities of its special economic zone, since its geographical advantages make the country a starting point for the expansion of UEE products to Latin America and the Caribbean,” the president said at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk.

The Cuban head of state added in his speech that at the same time transit will be promoted and the export potential of the countries of the Union will be expanded.

The Eurasian Economic Forum is part of the Eurasian Economic Union summit, which is being held on June 26-27 in the Belarusian capital.

The EEU is an economic alliance comprising Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In addition to the member countries, this year's summit is being attended by Cuba, the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Nicaragua and Uzbekistan.

It confirms that the balance of power in the region can only be seized through steadfastness, resistance, and direct engagement—responding to aggression in kind.

The unprecedented Iranian response since 1948 in the heart of the Zionist entity has made the enemy taste some of the pain it has long inflicted upon our peoples in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Tehran.

This recent confrontation has proven that the Zionist enemy is no longer capable of waging wars independently. It has become entirely dependent on American and Western military, political, logistical, and diplomatic cover and support, revealing its structural fragility and lack of initiative.

We affirm that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s unwavering stance alongside the Palestinian cause and its valiant resistance is a principal reason behind this compound aggression. This principled, historical, and courageous position remains a source of respect and gratitude from our Palestinian people and resistance forces, as it stands firmly with justice and freedom.

Attempts to portray Iran as an enemy have collapsed before the truth: the real enemy of our nation is the Zionist occupation and the Western colonial system that plunders our peoples’ resources and supports the killers of children in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen. Iran’s natural position is in the trench of resistance, global liberation forces, and the peoples’ right to self-determination.

While Iran is condemned for possessing peaceful nuclear technology, the same states remain silent about the Zionist entity’s nuclear arsenal and continue supplying it with the latest killing tools—once again exposing international double standards and the biased international system that favors the killer at the expense of the victim.

We call upon the peoples and forces of our nation to treat Iran as a strategic partner in the region, not as a threat as falsely promoted by hostile Zionist and Western media.
