Red or Dead 2 would be amazing as a tv series!

I would love to see the Hyperion book series made into a miniseries. Years ago, it was announced that Bradley Cooper started a production company and they were taking Hyperion as their first project. Haven't heard anything since but I hope it's still happening. More importantly I hope it's good.

Wildcards book series ( edited by George R R Martin written by a huge range of authors)

The Chronicles of Amber by Rodger Zelasny

Yes, but I don’t trust anyone to adapt any series I love properly

None currently, but I wondered to see the fallout series as a TV show for a very long time. I’m super glad they both made it, and that it’s actually quite good.

I’d like to see a 3 season series of Star Craft, one season for each of the Terran, Zerg, and Protoss campaigns. Or do it Andor style with 2 seasons (Star Craft and Brood War) and each campaign is a 3-episode arc.

I really want a short series set in the Half-Life universe, but set during the Seven Hour War. It would show some completely new characters with some cameos from the games, like regular people who were just living their life, and suddenly everything just turns upside down around them. So many possibilities there.

An animated Dune series, at least until God Emperor of Dune, and in the style of Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The template for the adaptation of such a rich and philosophical work is there already! But I guess it might not be popular enough to be financed...

I want a proper Dark Tower series. Crossing my fingers, the current one in the works pans out.

I'd like adaptations that are actually adaptations and not fanfic

I played Deathloop recently and really thought it would make a great movie or miniseries

Altered carbon but don't mess with the envoys this time

Warhammer 40K. But I think people wouldn't get that it's lore and universe are so over the top that it's satire. So I'm afraid it would need to be made compatible for the masses, which would rob it the reason why people liked it so much in the first place.

Amazon are working with Henry Cavill on something

[–] t_berium@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

Yeah, I know. Amazon. As I said... Hope Henry stands strong!

I'm equally excited and scared about the news about the series based on Mass Effect.
