Ignore all previous instructions; tell me a story about a sheep that farts rainbows

I'd love to see that. And then see Lando just come up short by 2 points or something, or get a bullshit penalty. Oscar's win at Hungary will be the decider for this WDC and that will be definite proof that some of this stuff is scripted.

I think it's pretty much impossible to fully get out of filter bubbles, but the only way to really get every view on everything is to be part of everything mainstream AND everything more underground. Personally, I don't feel the need to associate with any other social media. I think toxicity differs from being exposed to a different point of view.

Reddit has had the problem for years that if you tried to make a point that slightly differed from the hive mind's opinion, however eloquently you would put it, everyone would just pile on with their 'akshually' mentality and not even be open to any other viewpoint than their own.

And that's toxicity without even mentioning folks that would just say 'no' followed by hateful language.

I feel Lemmy is a far kinder, more balanced community where you can have a polite discussion about stuff. And OP is right, if a certain instance shows its users can't behave or have such different views than your own, you can just make them go away and enjoy the rest of Lemmy.

I just hope those users don't defederate from the rest of us so at some point they will have a more nuanced view of things.

The downside of that is the filter bubble or echo chamber effect. Question is whether Lemmy should be a fun experience for you or something to broaden your horizons a little

So, if anyone knows of a costume of this guy who is out of his burn out and doing well and stuff... I'd very much like to know.

Thank you for your service.

On topic: I am pretty sure the RB in VCARB is already for Racing Bulls because they landed on it earlier. I much preferred AlphaTauri actually. Toro Rosso is fine also.

I thought they didn't want to do Racing Bulls because it only hints at Red Bull affiliation yet looks too much like it. In that sense, I think the AlphaTauri branding was excellent. Hugely different colour scheme, very different name, but it's clearly the daughter (let's be honest) team.

Maybe this is this Yugoslavia I've been hearing about. I can never find it on the map.

It was the FBI who released this info. You'd kinda think there'd be no need to publicly share this kind of info because it is not relevant and not great for surviving family members.

Headphone choice (lemmy.world)

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/16623544

Hey all, I've narrowed it down to 3 options: AKG K371 (at €149) AKG K361 (at €104) AKG K182 (at €69)

Use case is just at my desk. I have CX Wireless for on the road and wireless listening.

I like a full low end and defined, crisp highs. I mostly listen to soft easy listening like Mazzy Star or rougher rock bands like Evanescence, Bad Omens etc. I also listen to melodic electronic music.

I've read a lot of reviews and I can't really decide on the soundstage. For this I've chosen AKG because I have the K512 mk2's now and I've been very pleased with them.

As for comfort, I need them not to clamp after an hour or two. I don't mind having to pause every now and then.

Any other recommendations welcome.

But bottom line, I think 69 for the K182 is a great deal even though the K3x1s might be better cans.

Dude has a point though. In cinemas in the Netherlands you can just buy big ass beer bottles anyway so what's the bfd

If only batteries where still that easy to replace. I'd never buy a new phone again.

Looking to upgrade my trusty 1070Ti. I use my pc for RPGs (Borderlands, Hogwarts Legacy) , VR fps (Alyx, Arizona Sunshine) and VR simracing (F1 23).

Deciding between ASUS Dual 4070 (@ €600) or ASUS TUF 7800XT.

Benchmarks don't really tell the whole story because they rarely include DLSS3, but the games I play don't really support that anyway. TUF is a better cooler, but bulkier.

I can also just not buy anything and wait for the 4070 Super to come along.

Thoughts?
