I worked at a McDonald’s that had a play place back in the day.

Almost every day some kid would shit, piss, or puke in it.

As is their right as free citizens. My forefathers didn't swing on the gallows for a hardback chair and an iPad. They died on the gallows because they stole horses.

Horses are creepy

They no longer need to advertise to kids because the kids they used to advertise to grew up

[–] TheVelvetGentleman@hexbear.net 3 points 6 hours ago

Most of them still haven't though.

How the fuck did workers clean those things?

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 30 points 23 hours ago

Clean them? Half the bodily fluids in the ball pit were from the workers. Fucking in the ball pit was how the night shift passed the time.

Half heartedly.

Given the way things are going with H5N1, this is probably for the best.

I kind of want to make an adult playplace

Scale up the tubes and slides and everything

Really cash in on that nostalgia and revitalize space in our abandoned warehouse districts

Look into the City Museum in St Louis, it's basically this.

Adults are less trustworthy than kids to not make it a disgusting mess within a week. Mostly cause most participants will have most likely been drinking and another large portion are gonna try to fuck in there, there is overlap. But it's gonna be a health hazard in no time.

Easy, just slap biohazard stickers on it and make people sign a waiver first, then just watch your profits come rolling in!

I can confirm that as a young adult I did some drinking inside playground hardware after midnight

I didn't make a mess but one time I did ruin a sweatshirt because there was a pre-existing human turd in a slide at 2AM

They could even do Five Nights at Freddy's and other indie horror collab events at night for additional sales where dressed up staffers chase you around in the dark. Just have people sign waivers first.

Hell, let people pay extra to watch the security cameras with staff to really get into the roleplay.

that exists! i live near a giant indoor playground (abandoned big sport/spa-warehouse type) it is pretty crowded with kids usually but there are a few days i month for grown ups (no booze no drugs rule tho)

Here's a video that provides some context. Sorry about the source though.
