Lol, the "fairness meter" says unfair left leaning. The article is literally just stating what occurred. ❄️

1000006466

If you didn't vote it doesn't show the result.

[–] KeefChief13@lemmy.world 26 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

So it just defaults to unfair left?

[–] unmagical@lemmy.ml 20 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Not really. There is no default value and the UI renders the initial needle state as being off the chart.

Click the unfair left and see what happens (it does not automatically submit your vote).

Yeah it's not the greatest UI. It's in its "resting" state like in a car, but it makes it look like it's so far left it's off the charts. They should just not have the needle until you vote.

[–] KeefChief13@lemmy.world 20 points 20 hours ago

Got it. Thanks for the info! That is a little misleading how they have it.

[–] whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works 8 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

What's the "fairness meter"?

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 19 points 19 hours ago

it's a meter that says it's only fair if you criticize the party that wants you to have some healthcare and the party that wants to blackbag random people to send them to torture prisons equally.

Forcibly remove first, ask questions later is going to soon end up kidnapping random people out of the country...

Conservative excuses and goalposts will adapt as we go along:

  • but look, he was supposed to be deported anyway (Abrego Garcia)
  • doesn't matter that he has a valid asylum case, he came here illegally so he should be kicked out (Gutiérrez)
  • If you don't want to support America, you shouldn't have a green card (Mahdawi)
  • he looks like he came from out of the country and he helps illegal migrants anyway, too bad he's a US citizen
  • these were people spewing violent rhetoric about Trump and America, take them out of the country if they don't want to be here
  • hey wait, this is a mistake!? (future kidnapped Conservative)

“Soon end up” … my dude, it 100% already is. This article is exactly that. A random kidnapping and booting.

(Formerly American) Conservatives in CECOT: You can't detain me, I have a rights!

Trump administration: Do you feel like you have rights?

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 20 points 20 hours ago

It's already resulting in them kidnapping random people out of the country.

[–] florencia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 49 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

If anybody is wondering what conservatives think, they haven't yet gotten their instructions for this particular case yet

[–] Fingolfinz@lemmy.world 13 points 20 hours ago

They’re all cumming their brains out to this shit

Wilmer Gutiérrez last spoke to his son on March 16 during a brief call allowed by police. He had spent days searching for information, visiting police stations and courthouses, only to be told there was no record of his son.

Are American law enforcement just reading Nazi history and emulating it at this point?

"Oh yeah, they did this in 1942 so we should do that too!! ... Kristallnacht? ... oh yeah, we gotta do that one too! ... and book burnings and maybe a giant parade or a mass rally with flags and shit"

I wonder how long until someone in Trump’s circle suggests they have people wearing symbols on their shirts so they can’t make these mistakes anymore?

[–] atomicbocks@sh.itjust.works 7 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

This is the 21st century though so it’s going to be sub-dermal RFID tags that get scanned like toll booth passes in cars.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago

I thought we got those in the vaccine already.

[–] Moose@moose.best 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Well, 4 days ago if this is to be believed. I say that because it seems like some are wearing them, but a lot are not.

This article is vomit inducing. I can't believe the chairman of the Fucking Cuckolded Choad (FCC) department called him the greatest president in history when he is committing crimes left and right.

[–] groupofcrows@lemmy.ca 3 points 19 hours ago

Trump loves gold and these are "Mexicans" so the symbol should be two overlapping golden Doritos. One chip pointing down and the other chip pointing up.
