Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

He simply had a long absence it seems.. like I said, a part of me had such a "too good to be true" feeling and thought he could've just been on vacation, but today, I started to notice the usual signs of him being here.

His bike was sitting out in the hallway (he leaves it there for a long time for some reason and it makes it honestly a pain in the ass to pass through), he was going in and out of the door a lot and I kept hearing it (I don't know why he does this), and I saw a bunch of dishes sitting out in the kitchen (probably for his obsessive cleaning stuff; I don't know entirely what's going on there).

Upon noticing the very first sign, I looked outside through my window, and there he was, sitting on the porch.

This ruined my fucking day entirely.

Well, I'm back to avoiding the kitchen again (except for microwaving of course). Unfortunate, but I can't do anything else about it.

An important thing to consider is that this guy treats this property like it's his own, which is what I make of him being so obsessive and controlling about stuff here. A person who left because of him once told me, "Why does he act this way? Is he paying everybody's rent?" When he's complaining or in his ranty mode, something he says a lot is, "We don't live in a dirty house here!" This is another reason why I remained skeptical about the prospect of him leaving... how attached he seems to this location.

I already theorized that a reason why he acts this way (towards POC especially) is that he has a superiority complex as an older white man that gets him to feel ashamed that he is in the same living situation as a young black person who got here on a food service salary; it checks out.

The best thing for me is to used the share space of the kitchen as little as I can.

It was fine while it lasted.

EDIT: He just saw me and apparently won some money with the lottery or something like that and showed it to me (even though I don't give a shit). Forced me to give him a high five too...

If he actually made some big money with that shit, I honest to God hope he uses it to go the fuck somewhere else.
