Be raging narcissist.

Become billionaire on the backs of millions of people.

Have kids with trophy wife.

Never see them. Too busy being awesome.

Kids raised by low paid help.

Kids turn out to not be raging narcissists.

Kids try to fix the world.

MFW.

Funny how when you rich pricks take everything and leave the rest scraping by, the rest of us stop supporting your broken system. It’s almost like no one wants to live to serve entitled narcissists. Maybe if you want your capitalist country to succeed, you should focus on raising the standard of living for ALL who contribute to it?

"I believe it’s the children of the elites," he told New York Times columnist Ross Douthat this week. "The most privileged people in society, the most successful, send their kids to the most politically radical institutions, which teach them how to be America-hating communists."

How odd, I would not call Donald Trump Jr. an America-hating communist, but to each their own I suppose?

What is infecting the ultra-rich these days? I assume both Andreessen and Musk were at least passibly sane-seeming individuals before they fell face-first into unimaginable wealth. But rather than thinking, “Cool! Me, my family, all future generations of my family and everyone we know and love can now live comfortable lives and never have to worry or work again.” they get on world media and declare, “All you fuckers are out to get me, but I’m gonna get you first!”

What is causing this? Is it drugs? Is it the money? Why are so many ultra-rich going batshit?

We really need accessible mental care in this country.

Everyone is susceptible to manipulation. The ultra rich are big targets. They see people saying they want free healthcare and education and realize that they'll have to pay a lot more in taxes if that happens.

That motherfucker stumbled into his fortune completely by blind luck and now he's thinks he's god's gift to the world. What an utterly pathetic loser.

Only I have the power to decide what 'America' means.

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago

I mean, I hate America and would destroy this guy’s companies from the inside.

But I take issue with the idea that I’m a communist.
