I recommend Stremio with the Torrentio addon instead.

If you're willing to shill out a few dollars a month, you can also add a debrid service for a better-than-netflix experience.

+1 for stremio, better than anything else out there...has ample live television as well.

If you're floss, there's madari - it's new and a bit rough around the edges, but it'll catch up quickly.

Here's a link to madari's github page for those interested.

Woah cool, thanks for the heads up on Madari! I've been hoping for something like this for ages.

with what addons

I swear every search result about stremio is just gonna turn into "oh it has this" with zero advice on what addon to use.

Stremio comes with a few addons for content navigation by default, but to actually watch most things within Stremio itself, the unofficial Torrentio addon is needed.

Torrentio itself needs a debrid service API key to function, with Real-Debrid being the cheapest at about $3 a month.

For live TV?

I'll check that out as well

Careful with Stremio and Torrentio. I forget the details but one of them isn't working with real-debrid anymore. Just do some research before getting a subscription with real debrid.

It works with real-debrid, there's just fear that real-debrid's content will be reduced by the outcome of the latest lawsuit. I've switched to TorBox because of that (and the lower price), but I honestly haven't noticed any degradation of the real-debrid service yet.

They work just fine with real-debrid.

Eztv is good enough for me anyways

[–] unknown1234_5@kbin.earth 2 points 6 months ago

I'll check it out
