This is just how polish people age

Eventually, he will sprout a little flat cap and start sitting in a rocking chair on his porch yelling at me to stay off his lawn

The Witcher 3 pic wasn't aging. Something went wrong there.

Isn't this the asshole exec that CDPR unionised to stand against?

[–] AcidSmiley@hexbear.net 51 points 6 days ago (2 children)

When unionizing does this to execs, we absolutely need more unions sabo

[–] Des@hexbear.net 17 points 6 days ago (1 children)

imagine every time you start a union and instantly the CEO drinks the wrong holy grail yes-honey-left doomjak

you chose poorly

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

technically it happened in the period after cp2077 1.0 and before phantom liberty dlc, but I do hope he's feeling even more tired now

[–] hexaflexagonbear@hexbear.net 19 points 6 days ago

That makes sense (the union being post 2077), the studio had enormous turnover during the game’s development due to how they were treating developers, presumably wouldn’t have been as acute of an issue if the devs were unionized.

man cyberpunk was so unbelievably shitty, even disregarding all of its bugs

[–] tormeh@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 6 days ago (2 children)

What are you talking about. It was brilliant. The main game and Phantom Liberty.

[–] peeonyou@hexbear.net 4 points 6 days ago

i dunno.. im not sure what i expected but it wasn't the game that came out. Maybe Witcher 3 set my hopes too high.

[–] peppersky@hexbear.net 1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Nah it wasn't. Turns out trying to make "the biggest sickest most expensive and advanced game ever to prove we are the coolest sickest most punk-ass devs around (please forget we are a million dollar company like any of the other ones)" isn't very cyberpunk at all.

[–] tormeh@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It was pretty big and it was pretty sick. I don't expect any game developer to be punk.

[–] peppersky@hexbear.net 1 points 5 days ago

Except it want sick and "big" isn't a quality in itself and certainly isn't a quality that's particularly cyberpunk

The curse of success. Now you have to do the same thing for the rest of your life.
