MODERATORS

put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

Final report from MSNBC: Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes nowhere to be seen after Trump's victory speech. Both were last seen on air when PA was called for Trump. Seemed like they have taken the spiciest commentators off-air. Jen Psaki has taken the moderator role, and as much as I hate her, the girl is doing a commendable job, she's been live for >8 hours holding it together. Bunch of jabronis whom I don't know replaced Rachel, Joy, Chris Hayes, etc. on the panel. They are still whining. Poor Kornacki is still on, and Kornacki cam is still live. Let the guy sleep. It is not worth watching anymore.

Back to you Hexbear containment thread Signing off for today

I have a gut feeling that turnout would be horribly low on Tuesday for some reason

Liberal family said people need time to mourn. I said fuck that shit, if you couldn't expect the outcome then you're not informed enough. They said it's good to have optimism. I said it's delusion. Maybe I'm being too harsh but their reactions feel so performative

I can work from home tomorrow, looks like I'm getting uncomfortably high this evening while shitposting and watching the map turn colors.

It's truly baffling that people could look historically at US elections and unequivocally say "When people are concerned about the economy, the incumbent party doesn't do well...........................................but this election it'll be different!" top-cop

The fact that the campaign didn't distance themselves from Biden will truly be studied for generations (who am I kidding, it probably won't)

love how the chapo stream is just a psychedelic filter over the election map and Trump's victory speech with gifs of felix and will staring on the side, we live in an era where it has become inadequate to bear witness to our modern horrors, we've gotta hand this site from the ex-somethingawfullers and put it into the hands of the chronically online zoomers such as myself so that we can form a grand movement that will make Abbie Hoffman smile down upon us from heaven

House is shaping up to be really close. Even if it goes Republican looking like probably within a few seats, hopefully close enough of a check to prevent the free flow of chud hooliganry.

Alright I’m gonna read a bit of Stalin’s Foundations of Leninism as a purgative and then call it a night.
