Ideologically I feel more aligned with De la Cruz, but it will be funny to have voted for the spoiler candidate if the stick Harris put in her own spokes finally sends her over the handlebars

Greens are anti-trans. PSL is the only viable meme ticket.

[-] Guamer@hexbear.net 4 points 8 hours ago

PSL 1st, Green 2nd

Holy fucking shit

Stein's VP is transphobic. Go with De la Cruz.

Edit: I'd just like to add that the Greens are an insular group of losers and parasites who have never been able to take any kind of advantage of the most favorable political environments.

Stein’s VP is transphobic.

What has he said or done that's transphobic?

Cruz, the Greens suck and have a bunch of anti-science hippies in them. As much as I like owning the Dems I don't really want them to become the main left party in this country.

Vote PSL. They are the only serious Communist Party running a presidential candidate. The Greens are fundamentally liberal social-Democrats at heart. They're better than Democrats, but not by much.

Just vote PSL if that's what you want to signal. Simple as. Better yet, join PSL or another org you align with. Voting doesn't really matter outside of power signaling.

rat-salute-2 I'm in orgs that do good work! I'm just trying to decide which vote is funniest

De la Cruz is the funnier option.

Not only is she Socialist, but, her name is Hispanic, that is two separate things that make chuds froth at the mouth, rolled into one, like an electoral Reese's cup.

It also shortcircuts a lot of liberal brainworms, they have a thousand talking points about Stein and the Greens, but they don't even know the PSL exists.

But, you do you.

It also shortcircuts a lot of liberal brainworms, they have a thousand talking points about Stein and the Greens, but they don't even know the PSL exists.

They'll probably just default to good old fashioned red baiting with a liberal portion of geopolitical scapegoating thrown in. These are people who are running to the right of "Scoop" Jackson after all.

I don't like that Ware is flogging uYgHuR gEnOcIdE

[-] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 19 points 14 hours ago

And crying about the left. Buddy, who do you think your base is?

[-] Fartster@hexbear.net 14 points 14 hours ago

I wasn't A Ware of this. I only listened to a couple of things and voted Stein just because of the 5% thing. If Claudia was on the ballot in my state I would have filled in that bubble, I basically gave it very little thought or effort.

[-] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 9 points 11 hours ago

I'm writing in Joe Brandon, the only rightful Democratic candidate

[-] Fartster@hexbear.net 5 points 11 hours ago

I try to do most things Brace Beldon tells me to do

[-] StalinStan@hexbear.net 9 points 14 hours ago

I dunno know where to look it up but if it looks like they are gonna hit 5% I would vote green. I don't think they will though so psl is better. Plus my polycule will get mad at me if I don't.

My other plan was to write in Lana Del Ray and see if I can get something free from making a fight on twitter.

stein if you live in a state where a big Green vote will let them skip the petition step of running candidates in lower offices. some more abt it otherwise it doesn't matter, write in Joe Biden

[-] mkultrawide@hexbear.net 15 points 14 hours ago

If you want to actually protest vote against the Dems, don't write in Joe Biden. I get that it's a funny meme, but if you actually are intent on sending a message, writing in Biden is more likely to be viewed as being mad over having pushed him out than as a joke protest.
