This is basically equivalent to evidence found in the bible so it probably counts.
More concrete, actually.
It's more concrete than Wikipedia, if that's the case.
It's always weird to read how people used to talk on the internet. 09' wasn't that long ago, but the wording and conversation on this post just feels slightly off. It's all a little more polite and toned down, less dramatic, but also more playful? I don't know exactly how to put it into words, but reading older forum conversations makes me feel nostalgic for something I frankly never really experienced.
I think it was a lot more raw and much less polished (disregarding that fact that this was 4chan). People were simply more excited to be online and sharing whatever it was they were talking about, rather than crafting a personality image
yeah I think you put it well
2009 4chan is a distant memory at this point. Definitely had its own vibe.
4chan at that time was still a bunch of people pretending to be r-worded. it's more self aware. lots of creativity.
Someone else phrased it well. Pithy replies are in vogue as they require you to put less of yourself out there and take less of others in. I miss the meandering crunchy streams of thought as well, but most of the current internet is harsh to them. Succinct affirmations or bust, except on Tumblr, one of the last vestiges of the old internet. 4chan lost them just around when stormfront moved in.
Go read the Fark thread from 9/11. Shit's crazy.
oh my farking god another plane!
is this the thread you're talking about? https://www.fark.com/comments/45086/NEWS-FLASH-PLANES-CRASH-INTO-WORLD-TRADE-CENTER-PENTAGON-Our-link-to-CNN-works-thanks-Metafilter-We-have-news-pics-in-comments-section-if-you-have-any-post-it-there
some unexpectedly prescient comments in there
I agree with Mme.Mersault, but I'm not sure we'll nuke the right people. :/ There's no such thing as too much force.
That's the one.
bloody farking hells. On top of a securitry training here at the fort, we've got this. This is shaping up to be a really shiat week.

Didn't someone figure out how the hashing worked and hen everyone was able to predict the last number?
Wish I remembered what year it became common knowledge
This would be funnier if we removed the other number replies. Happens once it believably looks like a miracle happened, six times in a row it's too obvious they're gaming the system for the bit.
Thought it was just sequential
I thought so too, but the sequence was sure wide and thus still impossible to predict what yours would be.
Apparently not.
Yeah that's how you became the king of gets
Be careful, some people will see this and think to themselves "the Lord works in mysterious ways"
RNJesus
They will say that anyway
Let's not claim the people who see Jesus in a Cheeto and call it a miracle are somehow rational.
I mean, what more evidence do you want?
Scientific proof and rational theories instead of "ohhhh wow look at this coincidence"
"Hey, watch me fuck with this nerd"
"Lord, twenty million children have starved to death today"
"Why do you always have to spoil my fun Gabriel?"
Inshallah, brothers.
