Made catnip tea for my Overlord, and I think he is quite pleased with the results.

I have a glass teapot with an infuser thing I bought from T2 years ago. I just boiled some water, put two teaspoons of catnip into the infuser and into the teapot with the hot water. I let it steep for 2 minutes. I then poured it into the bowel shown and added cold water so it wasn't super hot.
I like doing it, because he really likes playing with water when it isn't running water haha
Edit: the accidental enrichment was when I was teasing him with his kicktoy and accidentally dunked it lol, he then proceeded to kick the shit out of it haha

It's a cosy 24C in here, and I have a book and plenty of tea. Seems like pretty great weather to me.

The nest has been refreshed. I'm so fucking glad she just likes to sit in it and sleep. Things could be a lot worse.
First trip to Aldi. It's like being in an uncanny valley supermarket.
I ended up walking up and down the aisles for a while.
Was really cheap for the stuff I need. So score!
Now it's time for my monthly uber eats. I think a hsp would go down a treat.
If you're a coffee person, ALDI beans are the best value for money out there.
I think part of it is they don't play any music. It makes sense as they don't need to pay royalties then. And their checkout people get to sit in chairs so they don't need to take breaks.
Once you realise everything about Aldi is doing things as cheaply as possible it all starts to make sense
Not having music was kind of nice tbh.
I have to stay away from the European biscuits section.

Have some errands to run and hopefully have these songs learnt for Monday rehearsal.

Paycheck!!!!
Time for a mega food shop.
Work up way too early and couldn't get back to sleep so put on my big girl pants and went out to do the errands.
Aldi run done, cat litter and replacement gas cylinder for the soda King bought, replacement water jug filters and one of the Kmart Stanley mugs bought since I damaged the other one. Also filled up the car at the cheap petrol place on Kingston road.
Now back home and snuggled up with Sammi. Hoping to get a nap in but one of the neighbors has just started hammering so...
I have yet to buy something at Aldi. Fuck it, there's one near me. Maybe I need a tent with my groceries.
I'm still in a mood today was fucked

Assignment due tonight with an extension. Almost finished it and then I realised I missed something that means I have to change the whole thing. I start work at 7am tomorrow, so I don't have time to stay up and redo it. I'm going to have to start it again tomorrow and take the late submission.
If it isn't the consequences of my own actions.

Crash napped and woke in the night.
Yesterday was the specialist, Melbcat seems to have kicked the uti! Unfortunately thereโs not much to be done to prevent them happening. She also will be getting B12 shots. The specialist is happy with how sheโs being cared for and has given the green light for many treats.
Iโm finding the Dove beauty bar a bit drying so I might relax a bit on the frugality/minimalism and get a basic creamy cleanser. Itโs enough to know I can go bare minimum if I ever need to

It was insane. Thought the Lions were fine and out and then they come back from nowhere.
