I enjoy the All feed, but I'm having to manually clear out a lot of foreign language communities. is there any way to do that automatically?

In your Lemmy settings (probably need to use the web UI) there should be an option to select your languages. Lemmy will filter out content not marked as your language. Unfortunately, a lot of content is left without a language specified (AKA "undefined") so unless you want to filter out much of the content you do want, you're stuck manually blocking a lot still.

I don't think its possible. I think communities can be set up without a default language.

This is a question about the app Boost, and I haven't found a setting for it. But on the Lemmy website (which might flow through to the app) you can select which languages to see.

The problem is that 99% of people are not setting a language for their post or comment, so it's left as Undefined and so can't be filtered out.
