Imagine being Drugovich or Crawford thinking "they must be getting sick of him by now" and boom, seat blocked for another two years. Gutted.
No surprise, considering Mike Krack confirmed that "..the whole project [team Aston Martin] has always been around him."
Phew. I can rest easy now. I was constantly mashing F5 to find out if they'd offer Stroll a seat.
THANKS DADDY!
There must come a point where individual team members, engineers, strategists, tea lady etc, who I assume are highly motivated people, start to realise that this 'program' is going nowhere.
It must be counterproductive to the development of a team when you are setting your ambitions so low.
At what point do people start thinking 'Fuck this!' and start looking for opportunities elsewhere?
I imagine almost everyone working there are there for the money. You'd need to be in the sport with blinders on to not see that Stroll is not championship material. He's decent and I think that's a generous estimate of his skill.
Let's not dramatize. Red Bull has Perez, Ferrari kept Raikkonen after he had been demolished by Alonso in 2014. It's not like weak drivers is the daddy's invention.
Well deserved, a future WDC, no question about it. /s
LMAO irrelevance personified.
It must be so frustrating working for this team knowing they're not serious about moving up the grid.
