I'm not gonna lie: this whole thing is fucked when you think deeper about it.
The identity of the shooter doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Redmaga and bluemaga are each going to construct their own narrative and conspiracies about this event. Neither side will allow themselves to consider even a smidge of the opposing narrative. This is how deep the divide in this country is.
What is known for certain is that this will galvanize the right in the US and lead to more rightwing stochastic terrorism in the long run. Trump will win this election. If he doesn't then several major riots might start across major US cities. Whoever is in charge of this news is going to make sure the least amount of information about that guy's identity is available to the public.
This. Before Trump's ear stopped bleeding the republicans were already convinced it was a trans antfia supersoldier ridin' with Biden. We even saw it last night with the liberals saying it was a false flag.
