easy way to get upvotes on here is to call out OP for something the average user thinks is cringe

doesn’t even have to be true! just do it first and with conviction. “OP troll” “OP is sealion arf arf” “OP spams” “i have OP flagged as blue MAGA do with that what you will” and BOom top comment, no effort no research light work ez w. mods might clap you in 8-10 hours but by then the damage will be done and your game a success.

reddit brains love to criticize the toxic culture of insta and twitter, then turn around and upvote the first whiff of drama farming they see. 😘🙃

no effort no research light work

Basically 99% of ml/hex posters right there.

Why bother with effort when spamming emojis, stickers, gifs, and pretending like the world is as simple as "country do bad things, wipe out country, world good again"

Honestly it feels like listening to a bunch of American 6th graders who have just figured out that the US might not be the knight in shining Armour their history teachers made it out to be.

I think the worst part about hexbear is that they've made pronouns in username feel like a red flag

It must be more specific than "country bad," since they are simultaneously simping for countries that are doing awful things.

If it is a nominally socialist (with capitalist characteristics) country, they justify whatever atrocities happen. If it is a capitalist economy, everything that country does is evil.

simping for countries that are doing awful things.

You have already fallen into one of the classic blunders! There are no atrocities in [insert famously fascist, oppressive dictatorships here] and any evidence you supply to support your argument is simply mainstream media lies, regardless of the actual source. And if you are the primary source you're a shill.

OP is sealion arf arf

The 'arf arf' makes OP seem cute, though

it’s a meaner implication in normal context, like, “here, let me speak to you in the only language you understand, the language of an animal”

What is a Tankie?

Alternatively, a detailed blog post about Tankies.

(caution of biased source)

Basic Rules:

Sh.itjust.works Instance rules apply! If you are from other instances, please be mindful of the rules. — Basically, don't be a dick.

Hate-Speech — You should be familiar with this one already; practically all instances have the same rules on hate speech.

Apologia(Using the Modern terminology for Apologia) No Defending, Denying, Justifying, Bolstering, or Differentiating authoritarian acts or endeavours, whether be a Pro-CCP viewpoint, Stalinism, Islamic Terrorism or any variation of Tankie Ideology.

Revisionism — No downplaying or denying atrocities past and present. Calling Tankies shills, foreign/federal agents, or bots also falls under this rule. Extremists exist. They are real. Do not call them shills or fake users as it handwaves their extremism.

Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.

Off-topic Discussion — Do not discuss unrelated topics to the point of derailing the thread. Stay focused on the direct content of the post as opposed to arguing.

You'll be warned if you're violating the instance and community rules. Continuing poor behaviour after being warned will result in a ban or removal of your comments. Bans typically only last 24 hours, but each subsequent infraction will double the amount. Depending on the content, the ban time may be increased. You may request an unban at any time.
