OK, then maybe you should rule that no state can have these terrible laws. That'd be more effective than your whole ~thoughts and prayers~ routine. You can do that, right? You're president of the entire United States of America, right?
I mean he probably doesn't have "the power" to do that, but why doesn't he just try and see if he gets away with it?
The powers of the presidency are whatever the current sitting president feels like they are
