I remember once walking through a Midwestern city eating a bell pepper like an apple. I got some honest glares from strangers.
A chili pepper I could understand, a good red dried chili pepper is a great snack. The only way im eating a bell pepper is if its stuffed or diced. Its an ingredient not a meal!
