You're going to be really disappointed when it turns out it's not aliens. Because it's never aliens. People are fucking idiots.

You clearly don't know what's been happening. Maybe actually look into it a little. Don't know if it's aliens, but it sure as hell is something weird.
I've seen it all, and there's one thing that stand out: the extreme lack of evidence. There's blurry videos of shit that looks a bit weird, that are easily explainable without jumping to fucking aliens, and some dudes that totally swearsies it's for real. Fuck off you absolute cretin.
The physical and sensor evidence is available within special access programs, and at this point no one who as been following the subject doubts that. A lot of members of congress have been briefed on those programs, and they don't doubt that there are non-human intelligences, be it aliens or time travellers or interdimensional beings or whatever they might be.
