They justified these headlines by comparing it as a proportion of population, because we all know that murder is graded based on general statistics instead of real lives. For example, The Vietnam War was America committing over 12,000 9/11's...
Also, inflation.

I assume the Cambodian bombing campaign wasn't included?
More like 800 9/11s (from both sides) if its not per capita.
