The french are protesting against education funding. And americans wont get off the couch to rescue their own country.
Mobs are easier to form when your entire country is the size of a single US state and everyone who wants to participate in the country is within a day of driving to the same location. Your people aren't less willing to be fucked over by the government. It's just easier for the small percentage of you who will riot to meet up.
And most countries don't have a police force more heavily armed than a small country's military.
Decades of no accountability and poor hiring practices have made the police thugs against their citizen peers. Funded by the have nots, while protecting the haves and themselves.

Eh. Honestly, I think it’s pretty likely both incidents in which someone got “close” were probably false-flags. Orangeboi is a complete coward. I genuinely think he’d piss his pants and run away screaming if it was a real attempt on his life. There are a number of very suspicious points to the rally event in particular.
So this coward you speak of agreed to allow a teenager to fire a rifle at him from 350'? And Joe Biden's USSS, who he had purged of MAGA agents, and Joe Biden's FBI (who agreed Trump was dinged by a rifle round or fragment) were in on it?
Watch him when they pull him up seconds after we hear the "all clear". He is fucking stunned. Couple of photographers angle in for a shot (lemmy tells they were in on it as well), Trump sees the first thing he understands, "Cameras on ME!", and does the fist pump.
And all those USSS agents who were demoted or fired, and both shooters, all agreed to upend their careers and lives for...?
Or we could just admit that a couple of dudes shot their shot at the most reviled man in America, possibly and all-time hatred in American politics.
One guy did, but he didn't practice enough first.
That was staged. So. Fucking. Staged.
Yeah, i am extremely suspicious that the two incidents where people got the closest were completely fabricated false flags. The rally one in particular was so, so sketchy, and so many details simply do not make sense at all.
