A community for transfeminine people and experiences.

This is a supportive community for all transfeminine or questioning people. Anyone is welcome to participate in this community but disrupting the safety of this space for trans feminine people is unacceptable and will result in moderator action.

Debate surrounding transgender rights or acceptance will result in an immediate ban.

This community is supportive of DIY HRT. Unsolicited medical advice or caution being given to people on DIY will result in moderator action.

Posters may express that they are looking for responses and support from groups with certain experiences (eg. trans people, trans people with supportive parents, trans parents.). Please respect those requests and be mindful that your experience may differ from others here.

She and her mom both said they still want me in their lives, and still want to be friends. Knowing that I'm still wildly in love with her. I'm never going to not want more, and trying to just be friends would just break my heart anew over and over

Definitely don't do that, at least not until you're over it and that will take at least 6 months imo. Take space to heal, you can do this!

Yes.

Be done. Take time to heal. The memories will never go away and are part of your story. The next phase is building new memories absent of her.

My experience is any form of, "Let's just be friends", is a death knell. Mourn how you need. Time does heal wounds. Then move on.

Gosh I feel that one, I was once broken off with over the phone, too. It broke me for a year before I could move on. But move on I did, I found the one and she was worth the heartache. If it wasn’t for that messy hurtful experience I’d never met her. I wish you the same happiness, although I don’t recommend a year of heartache, results may wary on that one.
