I'd be done with new games. Time to bust out the N64 and SNES, fire up some rom hacks on my everdrive.

I have a fairly new AMD 9070XT in my rig... I should get at least 5 more years out of that...at which point I'll make the decision...

There are a lot of decomps being developed from the N64 and PS1 era. Meaning you can play (or replay) them natively on PC with quality life improvements such as 4K, 60fps, widescreen FOV hacks, texture enhancements etc.

It's really a great time to rediscover some PC games (or decomps and ports of console games) from 15-25 years ago that you might have missed when they were new.

I would love to play my SNES and Genesis. However I cannot find an affordable crt to save my life. Wish I'd never gotten rid of them.

Retrotink makes boxes that scale them for modern tv’s. Check em out, highly recommend
