Do yankees really fetishize the brits? If anything I feel like they are looked down upon lol. Funny accent, bad teeth, weird food, worshipping a pedophile king...

To be fair I love British comedy; no beating red dwarf; never stale enough to not want another season
I think Americans certainly used to fetishize the brits. "Hot guy with a British accent" hasn't been a stereotype for like ever for no reason but that being said I haven't heard anyone say that in at least a decade and we most certainly do shit on the brits extensively nowadays
