MODERATORS
In 2020 reddit banned a donald trump subreddit. In an attempt to appear 'even-handed', they also banned the subreddit for the podcast Chapo Trap House. Hexbear started as a liferaft for that subreddit, briefly going by the name chapo.chat. Hence the name, /c/askchapo
El Chapo was not a socialist, and it took every ounce of willpower I have to not 'yes, and' that title
To be exhaustive, the subreddit was for the podcast Citations Needed, it was just called r/chapotraphouse for historical reasons.
