Here is a fun fact: the US has a law which says they will use all means necessary to free a US service person if they are detained by the ICC.

And it's in the news again so I guess they are planning (more) war crimes ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

The US isn't signatory to any of the enabling treaties of the ICC and generally doesn't recognize its authority.
