Islam was a target of convenience. His numbers are tanking at home over his handling of; well everything. So now he has an enemy of necessity. Everyone that wants to hold him accountable. This is going to get ugly folks. Arm yourselves and be ready. Be ungovernable. Because they plan to govern you out of existence.
This is frightening correct, if you ain’t got a piece get one, a shotgun is probably best for most.
The one thing that give me hope is how big and dispersed the US is overall. There’s no physical way for the government or really any entity to quell uprisings or enforce “right think” there just ain’t enough manpower even if you bring in all law enforcement down to the municipal level. My suspicion is they believe they can use “AI” and drone surveillance to fill that big gap.
It’s a gamble on their part which reeks of desperation, but it might work. It may come down to whether or not Palantir is actually competent and no one does anything direct to stop them in time(this does include a general strike not just a Luigi)
I think you’re right about this, and the extra $350 Billion they’re trying to get right now for the “pentagon to fight communism domestically” is actually for rapid R&D and deployment of additional spy apparatus.
Be aware it’s not just Palantir. There are like half a dozen new companies popping up each week as part of the military industrial complex that are chasing this money to further violate our rights and erode our societal foundations. Stay vigilant friend.
They also just suspended the DOD's cyber maturity model which evaluates contractors and their ability to safeguard classified information, all with the intent of bringing in all kinds of defense startups without vetting their security. It's all part of the plan for venture capitalist extremists to collapse the United States and rebuild as network state monarchies.
yes yes yes thank you!
more people need to know that billionaires are literally conducting an open coup to destabilize the US government.
they want to make Galts Gulch real, a libertarian fever dream cooked up by narcissistic egomaniacs.
literally every thread about this kind of stuff I see on reddit and lemmy I share this link and also the youtube version of it (in a different comment below). You and everyone else reading this should do the same. I'm doing my part to spread awareness, are you?
Wish it wasn't too little too late, but it's nice to see someone familiar with The Network State manifesto and not just blaming Evil Foreigners for everything
I've been sharing it all over reddit and lemmy for the last 2 years, just to try to get the word out there. It's crazy more people don't know it, and when you say it, it sounds like you're a fucking schizo conspiracy theorist
It's just Jim Crow for business goons.
What if, instead of segregating by race, we segregated by employer? And we used id cards?
It's not exactly a revolutionary idea. It's just something you'll get screamed at for talking about, because it sounds too scary.
I mean it's company towns from the 1800s and 1900s but with high tech surveillance, AI, and military force.
Very interesting, thanks for the links.
Also you can watch/listen to an It Could Happen Here/Behind The Bastards podcast with the journalist who put this info together
Thanks for furthering my point and you’re right it’s not just Palantir, I should’ve added a “and their ilk” to it
And know how to use it. You don't have time to fumble.
Who are you planning on shooting?
The police? Your neighbors? The Army?
It sounds like you learned your survival skills from a bad video game.
It ain't about surviving.
If it gets to the point where left wing people are genuinely being rounded up, and there are no other options left, then being armed at worst lets us make the round up more costly in a last stand, or hopefully if there has been enough community building beforehand, helps us more effectively prevent a round up from occurring..
It would also help for a French resistance or Irish Troubles style long-term push-back.
I don't know that they're going to worry about rounding people up. It's enough for most people to make them too scared to think. Drone strike a protest on American soil and that'll break the will of a lot of people. Of course, it will also embolden resistance, but then that's exactly what he wants. If he can get the most serious resistors to huddle up where he can take them out with tactical units and scare the rest into hiding, he wins.
There is no "he", its a "them."
And FWIW, Trump is not even part of them. He is just a loud stooge distraction.
People keep falling into the trap of thinking he's the one doing any of this. He just wants money and fucking trophies. Yarvin and Thiel are taking advantage of the bullshit machine to built their techno feudal wet dream.
If someone tries to arrest me or someone I care about and throw them in jail for a belief they hold or something they said then yes I will go down shooting whoever is trying to.
Sounds like you get your self esteem from being condescending on the internet
Have a bad day!
This is a really unusual position to take.
As a husband and father the idea of committing suicide-by-ICE on ideological grounds is an absurd proposition.
Obviously there will always be more opportunities to secure better outcomes for the people I care about if I'm not dead.
Nah, it isn't.
When the options are a) possible suicide by ICE or b) freely allowing your wife and/or daughter to be whisked away to Little St James never to be seen alive again, I'm taking option A 11 out of 10 times. No one is taking my family away to some blacksite unless they do it over my literal corpse. You'll have to kill me first. End of story.
If you don't agree, go ahead and get a divorce and move out right now because you don't deserve that family.
That's the thing though...
This only happens in movies. You seem to be imagining some kind of apocalyptic leftist purge.
At the moment your family is "detained" you quite simply do not know what the outcome is going to be. Are they just going to be interviewed, and released in an hour, or are they never going to be seen alive again. A violent confrontation, no matter the outcome, dramatically increases the likelihood of the latter.
Sometimes caring for people means considering their well-being before your own ego.
If you don't agree, god help anyone you ever "care for".
They have been doing EXACTLY this scenario to all kinds of people who are even remotely "Mexican" for over a year and a half now.
People just... dissappear. They were "illegals". Then there is no paper work and sometimes they shipped off to fuck knows where.
You have a source for that? Women and daughters being abducted from their husbands and fathers and never heard from again?

It's the American hero complex.
When the government sends the military to round up ~~die juden~~ the commies they dream of standing their ground with the gun they bought last week against a team of well equipped motivated professionals. Only to die heroically and have their family raped and killed in retribution anyway.
It'll happen the same way it did a hundred years ago.
ICE are not motivated professionals. They are well armed dipshits. Cowards by definition.
It won't just be ICE.
Constructing a domestic "terrorist" enemy is a prelude to deployment of the military, or national guard, or whatever. They are professionals.
It's so weird.
Ah the good old American loud mouth blustering.
Is your plan to give up?
The idea is to make it costly to round people up.
See the bootlicker engaging in its namesake behavior.
Yeah that’s a bunch pf terminally online leftists here LARPing militia badasses and it’s almost laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic.
Nothing to do with being too online or military larping. They're already killing innocent people in the streets with impunity. Escalation isn't going to make that any better. Being armed isn't going to stop them either. It isn't about stopping them. It's about making it cost them. It's your choice if you want to be kidnapped, beaten, starved, and even killed peacefully. Its shameful that its gotten this far even. Personally, if they're going to do that to me, I'd like to make it hard for them.
Owning a gun increases your chance of being shot much less whatever you’re advocating for here.
You say that, and I don't strictly disagree. But that hasn't saved the unarmed people from being killed yet. In fact they're the only ones that have. Make of that what you will.
You’re forgetting about Alex Pretti.
Fair, and true. I still stand by it though.
But the core of your argument is basically dismantled.
How can you still stand by it?
No it isn't. The core of his argument is that fascism is here and it will not be stopped without violence. Historically speaking, he's right. Arming yourself in anticipation of an inevitable conflict that will come for you (unless you're the ~~white~~right kind of people) is only prudent.
1 exception doesn't dismantle the argument. Way more than Alex have been brutalized and killed. And that's the point. Listen, if you don't want to arm it's your choice. It just isn't going to guarantee your safety.
Does it matter?
Seems like he has enough support to cling to power, especially given that lackluster opposition.
