Daniel Moraff is the political consultant who "discovered" and pushed Platner hard to the forefront. Which begs the question, HIM? Why..?
It could well be that they vetted him, and found out about all his past, and let him run to discredit progressive candidates as a whole.
The democrats are paid losers so tbh this being intentional rather than a fuck up tracks
And we've already seen they'd rather throw an election than let a "progressive" win. Not that Platner is an exemplary progressive, but that's why he's the perfect spoiler candidate. Now Democrat wonks can point to this and say "see? Progressive candidates don't work!"
