when is a game this old finally public domain so they can get rid of the original game installation requirement?

Don’t say that, the Hudson Bay Company died a few years ago. It’s worth a read in Wikipedia; they were so powerful hundreds of years ago that they were treated like a country.

IBM is defunct for consumer tech.

Radio Shack is dead.

Many other examples haha.
