The Vintage 30 is a guitar loudspeaker manufactured by Celestion. It's the one in my profile picture if your Lemmy client supports them. (Edit: now it's my profile picture. Apparently that didn't get transferred from SDF when I moved to Anarchist Nexus.)
Ironically, the Vintage 30 is not very vintage at all, both chronologically and sonically. It's basically the default speaker cabinet for recording metal guitars. That + a Shure SM57 microphone + any decent high-gain amp head will get you 90% of the way to a good metal tone that cuts through the mix. ๐ค

Do you prefer UK-made 30s or Chinese-made 30s? I personally give it to the UK ones because of the mid-range they have.
