Am I the only one that believe the US has to go through some sort of painful transition/civil war/revolution to fix it? Is reforms from Democrats enough? (lemmy.ml)

The rule for needing 60 votes is set by a vote of 50.

I think we need to stop the “both sides are the same” stuff until we’ve actually given the Democrats a big margin in both houses for an extended period

Are you thinking on the scale of hundreds of years?
