~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

pretty sure the biting means to drop him
Some cats bite to show affection. My little guy has been happily chewing on my knuckles since the day we found him starving in the streets. He's not particularly gentle about it either, but he's all purrs while doing it.
One thing I like about the cats I had is that those that weren't gentle when playing didn't expect gentleness either. The moment they started to bite too hard I could smack them, they would look at me for two seconds without leaving my lap and get back to bite me not as hard.
i mean i know there are cats that are gonna cat but all of my cats i've ever had have done this. they bite (or suckle. or nibble. or whatever you want to call it) to show affection. usually while kneading with their claws. sometimes in the middle of getting pets or giving licks, just a quick bite then back to pets or licks. my current soulcat, half the time she likes to take a nap burying her face in my palm with her eyes closed and her paws wrapped around my hand giving me a hug. the other half of the time she's chewing on my wrist while kneading her claws into my boob through the fuzzy blanket because apparently she's a boob cat. fucking ow if i don't have the fuzzy blanket rolled up enough though. those teensy claws are sharp.
That really depends on the cat. I know someone with a cat that likes biting noses, and it has nothing to do with wanting to be put down. They really like being held. They just also really like biting noses.
I have an orange butthead who likes to bite but I have mostly trained him out of it, which really means he still does it but very gently or just grazes you with a fang.
"Got yer nose!" - ^⊥^
I mean, who wouldn't? How satisfying that would be if it weren't painful for the other. Tyson went for the ear, but probably just because trying a nose bite in a fight invites a head-butted.
My sibling has a cat named Stumpy. Stumpy has all limbs and a full tail, he got his name because he was found in a tree stump as a kitten. Stumpy is an attention whore and loves being pet and held. While holding and petting Stumpy, he will attack your hand because he loves the attention
Our void will bite you if she thinks you’re about to stop paying attention to her.
My kid still tries to bite me when he gets too excited.
