Apparently thats a common assumption but from what I can tell she's cis.
Idk where it comes from but it doesnt seem outrageous to just assume its a rumor from the Gamergate days.
From what I recall from the last time she was involved in drama, she has declined to confirm or deny being trans and everyone seems to be confused
