How has no one brought up "Department of War" yet? The first wave of news coverage was talking about how stupid the renaming was, then all future news coverage used the name despite it not even being official
i'm torn on deparment of war because it's more honest and it used to be the war department
Only more honest title would be "Department of Perpetual Imperial War for Shareholder Profit"
Renaming the department of war to the department of defense when the US hasn’t fought a defensive war in over a hundred years was also ridiculous tbh. Same with the fashy ass “department of homeland security”.
The press has never met a war it didn’t like
