Do liberals still remember that they're supposed to be outraged about that? The media hasn't spoken about it in a while, probably long enough for them to forget that Xinjiang exists.

Also, they're busy with Ukraine at the moment
They still bring it up relentlessly. Mostly if OUR politicians behave like crap. Baerbock called Xi a dictator recently and was reprimanded by Chinas foreign minister. Our Liberals didn't miss a beat before supporting Baerbock and bringing up the supposed genocide in Xinjiang.
Aussie liberals used to bring up the Rape of Nanking back when Japan was the boogeyman. They never let shit go.
I would bring that up too tbh, Nanking actually happened as reported and Japan didn't apologize until like 2013
their indifference to non-european cultures is stronger than their hate for China

Oh yep. I expect the cages to become political issue #2 again as soon as the republicans win the election. (Issue #1 of course is "orange man bad")
It sometimes comes up when you mention China but they seem to have memory holed it for the most part.
