I think gen 5 was the last good generation.
The only good generation in Pokemon will be the generation of gamers who rise up and burn every last game, manga, and piece of merchandise that contains the Pokemon brand.
Pokopia’s been pretty well received, but Koei Tecmo made it so that’s why it doesn’t have the usual half-baked cash-grab Gamefreak stink on it.

Thank you! I knew I wasn't crazy! It looked so much like it to me, but I'm only like one of 3 people who actually played that game so no one knew what I was talking about.
To be fair there's a lot of changes, but like, so much of it has the same skeleton, it's uncanny.
The most absurd part to me, is how pokemon battles actually have a lot of depth, that we literally never see explored in any of the games, every game can be beaten if you have a decent mon with a super effective move, no strategy needed. I know they're children's games, but they don't even try to show off a ton of the stuff you can do.

But yeah the emulators smoothes out the game by allowing the game to go faster so you dont get the glacial speed of battles.

Idk, I enjoyed Z-A. The dlc is kinda ok, the base game is fun. I might not dare to say it's good, but it's fun. Tbf I used alternative means to play if you know what I mean, so my opinion may be a little skewed, since I didn't pay for the game
