But where do you get the round noodles?
If you're not using the ready-bake ones, you can just cut the par-cooked noodles to fit.
I... I just snap the ready-bake ones into the right shape, like a person making stained glass windows
if you're making your own pasta, you can just roll it into a ~~piecrust~~ round sheet.
In that case, what do you do with the trimmings?
Toss them in
If you trimmed them to fit, most likely you'd have spaces around the circumference of the circular dish unfilled by pasta so you'd put the trimmings in there.
