Fuck AI

"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Fox News has said the same thing about themselves in court. It really shouldn't hold up as a defense anymore.

The seven bullets I shot into his face and chest were for entertainment purposes only, your honor.

"Your honor, the health insurance CEO was killed for entertainment purposes only. The whole nation is thoroughly entertained."

Since Fox News admitted they aren't a real news organization they should be compelled to put a disclaimer at the start of every show disclaiming that they are "a satire-baaed publication that is for entertainment purposes only."

They should at the very least have to drop the word 'News'.

Did they really claim that they are for entertainment only when they got accused of doing propaganda?

In before Trumps tries to claim he raped children for entertainment only.

I believe their defense was that no reasonable person would believe what they say, which is.... definitely something.

Yep, and also this is the same disclaimer given by psychics.

Just to clarify, is it okay to re-post the same news?

The following was posted almost 5 days ago:
- Post: https://lemmy.world/post/45018226 (a fun little gimmick to kill your stock for...)
- Author: @not_IO@lemmy.blahaj.zone

I did also come across the same but prior posting checked for already existing.
Should I just change an image and post it, too?
