As an unconcerned bystander I do wonder what you would have to contribute, as it seems you're mostly trying to hate on users from a few particular instances, without any real substance to it. And it does look like you think you had a real "gotcha!" moment there. Instead you're just looking like someone with an axe to grind taking it out on random folks.
And that's fine! My intial point was that their accusation of something being a whattaboutism was incorrect - everything else was in response to their attempt to insert themselves as a directly aggrieved party when the discussion was about a group in general, never about them specifically.
I don't know that it's particularly unconcerned to insert yourself into this too, but as the bar has been repeatedly set at "insulting me, lying about a lack of understanding in (what I can assume was) an attempt to discredit my argument, demonstrating that lie and then immediately attempting to walk it back when confronted about it" I am genuinely grateful for a polite interlude in the conversation.

You really want this to become a fight on personal terms, and I'm just not here for that. Resorting to image macro trolling in an attempt to bait out a personal attack so you do not have to address the arguments themselves is a really poor look for your case.

My points stand quite well on their own, and my previous comments quite eloquently address that question. If you are uncertain, I invite you to go and review them. I still feel there is no need to contribute further to what is a well-settled topic.

You're still attempting to shift the narrative to my arguments having been interpersonal - which they never were, and will continue to not be. The only claim to your personal beliefs I have made were ones that you yourself had clearly expressed.
Your 'argument' was 'I bet you believe something I think is wrong', with no elaboration. you didn't feel the need to address my point about them both being capitalist states that don't represent workers interests.

You said that ml and hexbear are far more pro-russian than other spaces; thats a half truth because it's almost entirely a critical support due to its positioning against the US. There's lots of spaces out there that are uncritically pro russian and I have problems with those the same as I would with maga reactionay spaces.
Compared to lib echo chambers like on the the rest of lemmy/piefed it may seem 'far more' in support of russia, but it's really not, especially compared to places with actual chuds running around.

I am glad you decided to take my suggestion to review my comments, although I'm not particularly interested in continuing this discussion. It seems unlikely you will be able to reconcile this comment with your repeated (and now clearly understood to be baseless) accusations that I did not have a point, or that the extent of our interaction was "I bet you believe something I did wrong".
You really didn't have a point though, it was just a baseless assertion about instances being 'pro russia' that you refused to elaborate on. That was why I posted the tuxedo mask meme.
