SHUT THE FUCK UP about privilege when you're literally trying to justify slaughtering people in much, much poorer countries. Orders of magnitude more people in the countries America targets experience a life far worse than the worst life in America. You don't get to kill other people to feed yourself. Jesus fucking Christ.

Like it or not these huge issues with inequality in our country force people to make these decisions. These are the facts. Lack of healthcare, job opportunities and engineered poverty force people into the military. I don’t know your situation but I do know a lot of people from deeply impoverished areas join. For example a lot of Puerto Rican’s join because poverty has been engineered in their colony partially for this purpose. These are just cold hard facts
Being completely passive and cold and ignoring the suffering of those around you is still better than actively inflicting suffering.
