As a previous tourist to China, I saw but a modicum of it, but it was weird.

The first advert I saw was on the train from the airport. And it was for industrial amounts of tin foil.

Like not for the kitchen, the ad on the train was for anyone who might need mass amounts of tin foil for manufacturing. It was weird that advertising for industry was like.. one of the biggest categories therein. Much much less direct-to-consumer advertising.

I kind of liked it, it felt like starting your own manufacturing business would've been very simple to do.

??? what do you mean communism allows for greater entrepreneurship than rugged free market crapitalism????? i'm shocked
