Classic fascist regime (USA) ignoring material reality and thinking their imaginary numbers (US dollars) can fix a problem caused by a real supply shock. I don't even understand the implications of the USA selling a kajillionn dollars worth oil futures to temporarily stabilize gas prices - does that mean the US government will have to buy oil at ANY price and sell it for the agreed upon price when the futures mature?

if they haven't closed they can get blown out, i don’t think they are that dumb but i'm ready for a happy surprise.

(oil was trading between 85-95 for 5 days after either direct intervention or markets believing in trump's war is finished thingy, you have to have unbelievable arrogance to not close after shorting at 110)
