Its modeled off the IRGC logo.

Lots of Shia Islamic Resistance groups did this after the Islamic Revolution.

I cant upload the IRGC logo because I am rate limited now but you can search. Look up Kataib Hezbollah and Hezbolah al-Hijaz as well. Its a theme
