As much as I love these quippy jokes at their expense, I feel that our reliance on humor allows for ambiguity. The only appropriate response to anyone saying they're an alpha male is, "that's really fucking stupid."
They don't respond to being called stupid.

Not sure about the rest of it & sexism doesn't fix any of this.
