I often sleep on these COVID patio things. But sometimes they're designed in a way that allows the rain to get in, so if I have the necessary materials, I make a little fort for the night (SHUT UP SHUT THE FUCK UP).
It doesn't beat sleeping in a van though. But at least I can still smile and have a good time, even when the police take everything away from me.

Unfortunately they fucking figured out I plug my laptop into the string lights and now they automatically shut off at midnight. But the guy who owns this place is super nice. The other day when I was rushing to pack up and he didn't know it was because I was gonna be late for the methadone clinic, he goes "No rush, take your time."
Anything you can do to stay on his good side/earn some brownie points?

I would've asked him if he wanted some help cleaning the outside panelling on the patio thing this morning, but I had to get going so I could make it to the methadone clinic.
Heh I wanted to get up early and take my fort down so he wouldn't see it but I slept until 10 again and he saw it and DGAF lol.
