Canada has a dark ass history with residential schools, like real colonial terror and violence against kids.
Anyway, we were covering it once in uni. And I swear to god every single one of my white classmates said if they were in that era they wouldve worked within the system for "harm reduction" and make it less bad. Now, the actual historical solution was total abolition. But the very modern lib settlers could not like comprehend that, even though abolition is what Canada did in real life (after wayyyyy too long). Its just not explicable to me
You know how people talk about how if Library's were invented today, they would never receive any funding or be made?
Liberals have regressed to such a cucked reactionary position that now if legalized chattel slavery were around today, they would never even consider abolishing it
