Just remove the checkmark on "Show NSFW content" in your settings.
I don't mind NSFW content - after all, it's a broad category - I just don't want a firehose of porn and gore. Some days that's all that's in my feed, and I have to open each one in turn to block the community.
I think they mean as a self-hosting admin
I think they also really enjoy skimming through soo many communities ; )
As a self-hosting admin, they can just defederate the instance.
Also, they aren't the admin of their home instance.
I'm not self-hosting.
